Brussels, Belgium + Add a trip

I like the Hilton Brussels City. Centrally located, you can take the train from the airport to Gare du Nord, from there it's a five minute walk. There's a metro station right in front of the hotel; shopping, sightseeing (Grande Place) etc. is nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Decor is urban. Breakfast is far to expensive, get a coffee and a croissant or a muffin somewhere else. Always check the rates on hilton.com. If you don't get a good price there check the Sheraton across the plaza (huge rooms, can be a good value). Also by Starwood: Four Points Brussels, liked this one as well, got great rates there (Rue Paul Spaak 15).

I booked Hotel Bloom! for a short trip with my fiancée. We haven't been there yet, but it seems very promising. Apart from great looking large rooms (around 30 meters squared) with free Wi-Fi internet connection, you can get a great price if you book at least 2 nights - 77.50 €, breakfast included. I think it's a great price considering breakfast alone costs 25 €. This 3-star hotel is located only 2 metro stops from the city center. Very good place to be is the NH Atlanta (NH Aremberg is nice as well but less services offered). Atlanta is well located (metro station de-Brouckere), with good services offered (there's even a gym at -1) and the rooms are really large and comfortable. Very good as well the Crown Plaza (Rue de la Loi), especially if you get a room at a high floor. Comfortable and really not expensive (but ok only for a couple of night if you're there for business reasons) - Thon Bruxelles City Centre, at Rogier. Very good breakfast included.

Ok, I will spend 77.5 € on Hotel Bloom by 2 nights because Michal Kralik recomend the place.
