Stefan Happer replied over 4 years agoOn a Sunday morning, visit the flee market at Gare de Midi rail station. It is huge and you can really shop for a bargain.

Wiebke Herding replied over 4 years agoA really nice market is on Sundays at Watermael-Boisfort. Take the tram 96 down to Wiener, stroll along the market stalls, have a break in one of the cafés, and then head for a walk in the Forêt de Soignes or the Park Solvay.

Riina Vuorikari replied over 4 years agoThe evening Market in Chatelain/Kastelijn is great (Le marché du Châtelain). Every Wednesday from about 1pm to 7 or 8pm (winter/summer). Take tram 81, get off on Rue du Bailli and you'll find on the big car park by Rue du Page (a block away from the Chatelain church).

Petru Popescu replied over 3 years agoPrices are quite high in Brussels. Best flea market, in my opinion is Place du Jeu de Balle. Also don't forget to stop at the pubs in the square - the ugly looking ones are the best.
If you are searching for flowers or plants (Brussels is famous for that), you can try here www.fleurslivraison.be or at your local florists. Don't expect for cheap, anyway!

Tom Pieters replied over 2 years agoAntwerp is the shopping walhalla in Belgium. Only a 40 minutes trainride and a zillion times more trendy. And our english is also lots better.( We're Flemish , dutch is our mother tongue. ) Just hop on a train. they are extremely frequent and easy to use. Just think of Flanders as one big city. Bruges = 1 hour / Ghent = 35 minutes/ Leuven 20 minutes etcetera
