Carl Petrou replied over 4 years agoStay at Coogee, you'll love it. Just get the 380 bus from the city of Sydney and then when you get there, just look out for the accomodation signs ; )
-
Phil Burnham replied over 4 years agoManly is the place to be. Access to great beaches, shops, cafes & such. A 30 minute ferry ride from the CBD. The best way to see the harbour for just $7..
-
Sydneysider replied over 4 years agoThere are plenty of options no matter what kind of holiday you're planning. The hotels around Circular Quay have the spectacular views you'll get nowhere else in the world - Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Sydney skyline ...
if you're coming to Sydney for the beach, Manly, Coogee and their surrounding suburbs are the perfect choice. They are still close by so you won't miss out on the city action while you're getting the most of the beach life.
There's a hub of backpackers around Kings Cross if you're on a budget and looking to meet other travelers. Then you're only a quick stumble home from some of the best clubs and bars.

Michael Harris replied over 3 years agoA great 5-star property, and rates that won't cost you the earth specially if you book in advance.
Breakfast here is a must-do, with eggs and omelettes pretty much any way you want, as well as freshly made pancakes right in front of you.
Oh, and the rooms are great too. If you love your coffee, there's a Nespresso machine in every room with a wide selection of coffees for all your tastes.

Brianna Laugher replied over 2 years agoPretty cheap, close to Central and Museum stations (but not *too* close), and I find it quite charming - for a pub room, of course. More character than the Travelodge across the road.

Lauren Bellew replied over 2 years agoLoved the property. It has recently been refurbished completed at the end of 2010. Awesome spot next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and walking distance to circular key. Great for a wine at sunset on the wharf to take in the views. :)
