The Barking Frog restaurant at Manly Beach (northern end) is a great little place to eat after a morning's surf. It didn't seems to escape the usual tourist attention.

Eoin O'Sullivan replied over 5 years agoThe Paddington Inn
This is one of my favourite bars in Sydney. It's got a nice relaxing vibe and has great music on a saturday night. It usually draws a good crowd on the weekends too.

jeremy Chia replied over 5 years agoSydney's rock pools
possibly the coolest thing you'll see in Sydney. rock pools are swimming areas that are carved into the rocks on the beaches. clovelly on a clear and sunny day can't be beat, whale and bilgola beaches also have rock pools, during whale migration you could spot some whilst swimming. there's also a lovely one off marine parade road just before maroubra, of which i can't remember the name.

This place is a Sydney institution, and while it has been around for a few years now, it is always excellent. 5 spiced chicken, egg net and vegetables, and the betel leaves are things I cannot resist ordering nealry every time I go. And the cocktail list is to die for!

Amazing bookstore in the city. Vast range (including, but in no way limited to, Japanese books and cute stationery), over the whole top floor of the Galleries Victoria. There's also a small cafe serving yummy cakes; the staff were very sweet and kind to our one-year old.

Find it! It's lovely piece of Sydney history, and you might even see some water polo hotties practising (like I did).

Natalie Manning replied over 4 years agoCatch the ferry from Circular quay to Manly. There are heaps of shops and cafes to go to once you get there, but nothing beats a ride on the harbour going past the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge...

Sydneysider replied over 4 years agoThe Manly to Spit Bridge scenic walk will keep you occupied! It's a beautiful stretch that will take you along the Middle Harbour and through the Sydney Harbour National Park. It's the kind of walk that makes you wonder why anyone would pay for a gym membership when you can kick around in the great outdoors!

Digi replied over 4 years ago- Shopping or just strolling along Paddington. There's a market on weekends where you can mingle with locals, enjoy some art eye-candies (and even buy nice stuffs), and don't forget to visit Max Brenner Chocolate Bar for a sip of hot cocoa and have lunch in Anastasia's. - have a brunch in Sydney Fish Market for fresh sashimi and/or a nice seafood platter.

Jonathon Levey replied over 3 years agoThe Apple Store is Sydney is absolutely amazing and has become renowned as a small landmark. The three story store shows the complete range of Apple Technology and is available for preview to all customers. The friendly employees make visiting the Apple store a happy and inviting place. Plus, the implementation of technology into the organisational structure of the business, through employees using iPod touches and iPhones to organise their day, is admirable in the advancement to a more integrated and efficient future.
