If you're in Perth, catch a train to the port suburb of Fremantle and have yourself a beer at Little Creatures. The venue is a large converted warehouse; all the brew is made on site and comes out of huge vats which sit behind the bar. There is an industrial-style walkway overhead that features artworks along the railing. Chefs cook your food virtually in front of you, with only a slight perspex partition between you and the kitchen. It's definately got a unique atmosphere. I loved this place. I felt it was relaxing to sit by the water in a place that was different and fresh. In my opinion, it's a must visit.

Noelene Nabulivou replied over 3 years agoBest pizza ever! Il Padrino Cafe,
This is the best pizza I have had...whether New York, London, Roma, Turino... Minutes walk from the bus station, library and WA art gallery...Just ask around nearby...
Claim to fame is he's cooked pizza for the Pope...not this one..the last one :)
Family business...Always busy but can get walk-in if you can wait a little while... Small but cozy and window tables nice, but hard to get unless you ring and book first!
And always have a really nice reasonable house red to go with it...
And the pasta...try the penne arrabiata!!!!!

Rene Yap replied over 3 years agoCiao Italia, by far, serves the best italian fare i've had in my lifetime, at a superbly affordable price! The tiramisu is simply lovely. The only drawback is that the restaurant is really tiny and very popular - so u really have to wait. :) But they do delivery if you don't live too far from this area! Address: 293 Mill Point Road, Perth 6152, Australia Phone: +61 (08) 9368 5500
Also - Northbridge has hundreds of eateries - and this being the "clubbing" area in Perth, you will be assured of chinese eateries staying opened until 4am. Billy Lee's chinese restaurant is pretty good - the rice vermicilli noodles is very well-done, with the right wok-heat (this is really impt in chinese food) and brings out the fragrance of the food. The other dishes r pretty good too - but the porridge are a little on the bland side.
