Pat Allan replied over 4 years agoThe restaurant Chillipadi, just off Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne, in Melbourne Central. You will have to buy something, as the wireless has a password. Power points, however, are few and far between (I think there's only one in the outside area along Menzies Alley).
This tip has the address "Corner of Little Lonsdale St and Elizabeth St, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000" -
Jared Powers replied over 4 years agoMany cafes have some sort of free email but if you want a good atmosphere and aren't afraid to spend 3 bucks try E55 @ 55 Elizabeth in the City, Workshop up at the other end of Elizabeth or the Black Cat in Fitzroy. All good places to get lost in a computer with great coffee.

Reuben Bedingfield replied over 4 years agoIf you're traveling without a computer, the library on the corner of La Trobe and Swanston has computers with free 15 or 60 minute internet access. There's usually a queue for the 15 minute computers, but it goes quickly.
