  The Stokehouse isn't the place to go. Famous because a) it has a rare-in-Melbourne beachside setting and b) it's big - so lots of people have been. But actually this place isn't special by Melbourne standards, with overpriced unmemorable food and average service. I prefer the St Kilda Baths and the Great Provider for the beach setting, and don't think the extra formality at the Stokehouse is worth the price.
