Mich Elle replied over 3 years agoFish Frenzy, located on Elizabeth Street Pier, claims that they're 'arguably the best fish 'n chips in Australia'. And they could be onto something there! A great place to go to either for lunch or dinner.
Otherwise, another good place to eat is The Drunken Admiral Seafood Restaurant on Hunter Street. Great seafood, and great atmosphere. And with lots of shipping bits and pieces adorning the inside of the restaurant, there's a lot to take in.

Vernon Fowler replied over 2 years agoBall & Chain Grill at the water end of Salamanca gives an awesome and affordable charcoal grilled steak. I recommend any of the small cuts with their special barbecue sauce. An all you can eat salad bar with both range and quality compliments your main nicely. A selection of tap beers, and a variety of wines to quench your thirst - be careful with drinks though if on a smaller budget, just drink the water.
