Saturday: check out the Salamanca Markets (8am-3pm), go for breakfast at one of the funky cafes, grab a coffee and stroll around the market stalls or look at the amazing galleries in the spectacular historical buildings along the waterfront. Sunday: breakfast at Machine Cafe (Salamaca Square), stroll through historic Battery Point or to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, or hire a car/grab a tour bus up to Mount Wellington (pack your wind-cheater - it's always windy and cold up there).
