Take the River Cat trip to the end of the line and back. Stand outside at the front of the boat and see Brisbane.

I went to the brewery with my 76 year old father and we were both impressed with the size and quality of the operation. It's a masterful piece of engineering especially as it is very near to being a net exporter of energy. It's not however a boutique brewery wih old copper kettles and men boiling huge quanties of hoops, this is a major comerical brewery and needs to be appreciated for what it is. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and referred to the experts for what she didn't know.

Well worth a visit if your interested in manufacturing but don't buy the overpriced 6 pack unless your feeling flushed. A great tour, so check it out

Just a stroll down from the Piazza is the South Bank beaches. Great if you want to have a quick swim in the city or lay down and tan in the sand.
