Go to Mt. Coot-tha at sunset

If you can, go to Mt. Coot-tha in the late afternoon to watch the sun go down on the city. You get a spectacular view as the city lights up. Then have dinner at the Kuta Cafe or the more prestigious restaurant on the hill there.

This tip has the address "Mt Coot-tha, 15 minutes from the city"

Harry's Fine Foods on petrie Terrace.

Aaaah yes, for that Caxton Hotel post piss-up craving for deep fried tucker, there's no place like Harry's, or The Windmill next door.

For some of the best Indian food, try Punjabi Palace in West End. The lamb korma and punjabi naan are to die for.

Go for Verve Café, that is really awesome. Located on Edward St., it is central, and the food is awesome. A main is around $18, tho the fish of the day is around $25. I have had their risotto, Verve Lasagna, and the fish of the day (which was the best tuna I've ever had).

Despite its violent moniker, this modern St Lucia fish and chippery has made a name for itself by attracting crowds from far and wide.

Not just about fish and chips the restaurant also serves up some super Greek and Asian seafood dishes. Plus if your still hungry you can finish off with some home-made Turkish delight.

Prices are quite affordable and is immensely popular with the local uni students.
