Jin Lim replied over 3 years agoVisit the wineries in SA - Barossa and McLaren Vale...then lose some cash at the Adelaide Casino...then enjoy some great meals in Chinatown (Gouger St) and a great sleep at Hilton. Don't forget to take a trip to Glenelg on the tram and on weekends you might get a chance to ride the old antique trams ;-)

Ric Hayman replied over 3 years agoSecond the tip about wineries; Barossa and McLaren Vale both about an hour from CBD ... Clare Valley is a bit further out, but great wines - suggest bed and breakfast overnighters in all 3 areas for a better appreciation!
As well as the Central Market/Gouger Street, try east end of Rundle Street and Hutt Street for dining - both in the city area.

Michael Smith replied over 3 years agoSome wine tips In the Barossa go to Rockfords for nice but pricey/limited wine Kadmyne just up from Woodstock has an amazing range and great food, we went in for a couple of bottles and came out with 13.
In Mclaren Try Woodstock for a good range and some interesting desert wines Eat in Cafe 190 on the main st in Mclaren Fox Creek is good
Try and find somewhere to stay or get a dry driver!!
For a trip to the coast try Fish and Chips at the Flying Fish Cafe in Port Elliot
