The Central Market is by far the largest of the fresh food markets, but there's also the Sunday Farmer's Market at Wayville Showgrounds and another Farmer's Market at Willunga.

For department and clothing stores, there's Rundle Mall (a pedestrianised street in the city centre with many arcades) and Marion shopping centre (if you prefer US-style indoor malls). Burnside Village and King William Road have high-end boutiques. There are also local shopping streets, such as Norwood Parade, Unley Road, or Glenelg.

When in the central markets try The T-Bar or Ginos for food or tea
