* Sägewerk at Schlögelgasse 1: They offer pizza, toasts and sandwiches for student's budget. You can "design" your own creation of food with a "construction kit" (you can choose the ingredients/topics yourself) * A really great place is Cafe SUED at Andreas-Hofer-Platz. They offer soups, baguettes/sandwiches and salads. Nice serviceguys, lounge music, furnitures with style. http://www.cafesued.at/

If you like Asian food, there's a good place at Sackstr 27 - it's called 'Midori'. They offer good-quality running sushi. Have been there with a friend - would definitely go there again.

I can recommend Herzl Weinstube (Prokopigasse 12/Mehlplatz), is open till late and serves good vegetarian dishes, I enjoyed the pumpkin seed oil tagliatelle a lot! Nice list of wines also.
