Atmospheric, Victorian style, an excellent alternative to the soul-less modern standard 4 stars hotel. Perfectly located (the map on dolpplr is wrong).

Fine for a business trip, but the bar prices were super-high and the lobby was plagued with mosquitos. Rooms were the usual Hilton standard,so no complaints. Location was pretty good - although Puerto Madero is somewhat souless, it's a good spot from which to take off on some city hikes.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights the night before I was due to check in. It turned out to be a brilliant, clean, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the cute and well maintained pool. The area is superb as well, and all for a very affordable price. I'd definitely stay here again.

Before I moved to Buenos Aires, I stayed in an apartment with Oasis. They were really helpful and their apartments are really cute, stylish and safe (very important for me). They have apartments all over the city, and each one is unique. I highly recommend them. They also have other sites- one in Punta del Este and one in Florianopolis.
