Atlas Parasite replied over 2 years agoLooking for a musical way to spend a Monday night in Buenos Aires? Sure, you can always find some milonga around town to dance some tango, but maybe you’ve already done that…or maybe you’re looking for something a little less cliché.
La Bomba del Tiempo (the time bomb) is a percussion group with around 17 members under the direction of Santiago Vazquez. They are pretty well-known in Buenos Aires and since their founding in 2006, they get together every week at the Ciudad Cultural Konex in Sarmiento and just jam. If it’s nice out, I believe they play outside, but if its rainy, they play inside the main building, a big warehouse-type place inside the complex, which really helps with acoustics.
