360 club @ Jumeirah Beach Resort

One of the most popular clubs around the city. Located on the end of a jetee, bang beneath Burj Al Arab (the first 7 Star Hotel, also one of the tallest). Be sure to check out the place before dusk to get the complete feel... along with a mojito and some good friends.

Fab, very cheap, Indian eatery - best for take away biryani, fresh naan and curry. In amongst all the material & small souk-like shops. A bit tricky to find, have a go if you're going that way. Don't make a special trip...(PS. the location on the map was a bit of a guess - I only know it by driving).

Relaxed lounges for meeting friends. I recommend the Kir Royale and a seat by the Fountain.

Tasty, rich Moroccan food in a strange mix of traditional chic and modern glam.

Some say the best Chinese restaurant in Dubai right now. (There aren't that many). Take your time to stroll through the Souk at Madinat Jumeirah, then take an abra (motorboat) down the canal to the restaurant.

Definitely recommend the wasabi prawns and blackpepper beef. Be sure to book a seat outside with a view of the Burj Al Arab.

If you're looking for arabic food near JBR / Marina, Sarai restaurant on the JBR Walk was pretty good. Not licensed. Reasonably child friendly. Service was good.
