Visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the iconic buildings of Abu Dhabi , one of the world's largest mosques and definitely one of the most beautiful.

Visitors are welcomed on official tours of the mosques, ladies are given abayas and shaylas (black gown and head scarf) to wear to ensure shoulders, head and legs are covered.

Desert safaris and a visit to Sheikh Zayed Mosque are both good options, otherwise try island hopping. My suggestion is Al Futaisi Island or Sir Bani Yas Island.
