The best prices are in ABCS ( Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society) and they have branches everywhere in the Island of Abu Dhabi.

The biggest is Carrefour at Marina Mall.

The one i like most is Spinneys(khalidia) ,because they sell pork.

Supermarkets: I usually go to Co-Operative Society 'cause it's cheaper, but Carrefour and Spinney's are very good, though. Plus, you can buy pork at Spinney's (and at Abela too). For a different experience, try the Fruit and Vegetable Market and the Fish Market (both in Mina Zayed port): try to go early in the morning!

Shopping Malls: Marina Mall for designer boutiques, Al Wahda Mall for clothes and shoes. Abu Dhabi Mall has something of everything, while Al Khalidiyah Mall is quite bland.

Jewellery and Gold: Gold Centre at Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre (Muroor Street).

Carpets & Antiques: Definitely Persian Carpets and Antiques Exhibition (Rotana Mall, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street)!
